Welcome to the GivEUvoice project Grounded in the belief that youth participation is essential for vibrant democracies, the project aligns with EU strategies to empower young citizens and bridge the core-periphery divide. Mission
To empower young people from Europe’s rural and peri-urban areas, giving them a voice and fostering political participation through the creation of physical and digital youth spaces.

Vision
To build a more inclusive Europe where every young person can actively participate in civic life, strengthening the connection between youth, local communities, and the EU.

Focus
To address youth disengagement in peripheral areas by creating a European Digital Youth Network, a roadmap for physical youth spaces, and policy recommendations that promote youth civic participation.

Activities

Our project is built on a two-year plan with a step-by-step, bottom-up approach. We aim to empower young people from Europe’s peripheries by equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed for effective civic participation.

Year 1: Building a Digital Youth Network

Online Training on European Citizenship:
The project starts with an online training for youth workers and leaders. They'll learn about digital and active citizenship, preparing them to support young people in our consultation meetings.

Local Consultation Meetings:
We will organize three consultation meetings in each participating country. These meetings will bring together young people and local municipalities to gather ideas and input for the creation of a new, youth-led network.

European Youth Campus:
This event is where young participants will come together to debate and collectively design the European Youth Network. This ensures the digital space is built to meet their specific needs and desires.

Year 2: Creating Physical Spaces and Advocating for Change

Youth Exchanges:
Three youth exchanges will be held to explore how physical spaces can be used as tools for democratic engagement. Participants will learn about the political and cultural dimensions of creating their own community hubs.

Developing a Roadmap and Policy Recommendations:
Based on insights from all our activities, we will create a roadmap for establishing inclusive youth spaces. We will also formulate a set of policy recommendations to advocate for greater youth civic participation at all levels of government.

Local and European Conferences:
These final conferences will highlight the project's impact and bring together young people, municipalities, and organizations to discuss social change and future collaborations. They serve as a platform for sharing our findings and ensuring our work continues beyond the project's lifespan.ork, a roadmap for physical youth spaces, and policy recommendations that promote youth civic participation.
